AI Visibility Score: where your brand stands in AI search
Buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini before they search Google.
The AI Visibility Score shows where your brand stands, and where to act first.
The recommendation you never see
People ask AI for answers, and your name is not in them.
Isn't this a common problem in the business world of 2026?
When a buyer asks Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini for a recommendation, the model replies with a shortlist, sometimes a single name. If your brand is not part of what these systems read and trust, the mention goes to a competitor. It happens quietly: no click, no impression, no trace in your analytics. Quite a problem, actually.
Where the questions go now
For two decades, being found meant ranking on Google. That still matters. It is just no longer the whole picture, because the way people ask has changed.
Over 1 billion people use ChatGPT every week (OpenAI). Google’s AI Overviews, the AI summary above the results, reach 2.5 billion people a month, and AI Mode, its conversational search, passed 1 billion monthly users within a year (Google). When an AI summary appears, people click a website in 8 searches out of 100, against 15 without one (Pew Research).
Google is leaning into this. In May 2026 it rebuilt its search box around AI and linked AI Overviews straight to AI Mode: what it calls the next chapter of Search. The list of links is still there. It is simply no longer where the decision starts.
Google’s traditional search showed ten links and let people choose. AI search gives one answer and chooses for them. The visibility that took years to build on Google does not transfer automatically.
One score, four surfaces
The editorial plan translates direction into content. Content pillars, formats, channels, languages, frequency, roles. It says what kinds of content will carry the strategy, how often each one appears, where, in which language, and who is responsible for it.
It is built once a quarter. A quarter is long enough to see a pattern and short enough to correct it. A plan built for the whole year rarely survives the first campaign; a plan rebuilt every week is a calendar with ambitions.
Before optimising anything, it helps to know where you stand.
The AI Visibility Score condenses that into one number, measured across four surfaces: Google rankings, AI engines, social channels and your Google Business Profile.
Each surface answers a different question: whether search still finds you, whether the models cite you, whether your channels confirm what you claim, whether your local presence holds up.
Read together, they show which lever moves first, and which can wait.
